So armed with black bags, green bags, garden bags and gardening gloves i braved the heat and the bee's to finally attack the mess that was awaiting me.
As you can see it's pretty overgrown, so i attacked and discovered that not only was the dead tree still alive but we had new roots and tree's growing out of the concrete patio. I tell you it took me nearly an hour to cut most of it back.
The black, green and garden bags came in useful as we had to double bag the black bags and the green bags, and all of the smaller buts of tree and weeds went into the green bags. I must have spent two and half hours out there trying to sort it out. I've decided to leave for the rest of the day and get back out there tomorrow morning when it's abit cooler and carry on as i want' my garden back...
this is what it looks like at the moment. It doesn't look like much but it's actually a lot clearing when you look at from your own perspective.
